I have been lucky in my career in that I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries within Europe, Asia, Australisia, North America and India.

  I used to simply drink instant coffee with a splash of milk - that was until I lived in Melbourne Australia where I was introduced to the "coffee culture".

In Melbourne more than any other city I have visited, is there a real love of coffee - and coffee shops live and die through their "reputation", so producing a poor coffee is not an option in such an aggressive market.

Since that time, I have found it very hard to find a provider of coffee in the high-streets of other cities who can provide a good tasting coffee - whether filter, cappucciono, latte etc.

At this Wiener Kaffeehaus , Anton has divided his floor space into two areas (side by side). On one side is the Roasting Room - notice that it uses a very small space/footprint and requires only a 3-phase power supply. Coffee bean storage is placed under the front counter.
